To generate a GM mouse model, just provide us the gene accession number and the type of mutation to be produced. Our experienced team will then evaluate your project and suggest the most appropriate strategy to generate your mouse model. If needed, a targeting vector will be constructed using ET recombination and other cloning technologies, the construct will be sequenced to verify its sequence, and is electroporated into our highly germline competent ES cells. Clones will be validated by PCR and sequencing, and are injected into mouse blastocysts followed by transfer into pseudopregnant female mice. The resulting chimeras are then bred to obtain mice with germline transmission. We also search all available databanks for excisting GM mice, constructs and readily targeted ES cells generated by the International Mouse Phenotyping Consortium (IMPC).
